With over 40 years of experience in the financial market, he was Executive President of the following banks: BMG, Itamarati, and UNO-e (a joint venture between the Telefónica de España and BBVA groups). Vice-President of Banco do Estado de São Paulo – BANESPA and FINASA Leasing. In the institutional sphere, he chaired ABBC – Brazilian Association of Banks and was also Director and board member of FEBRABAN – Brazilian Federation of Banks, ABEL – Brazilian Association of Leasing Companies, and FELALEASE – Latin American Federation of Leasing. He is also a partner at AGGREGO Consultores, a consulting company dedicated to the largest Brazilian business groups, associated with Alcides Lopes Tápias. He served as a member of the Board of Directors in several companies. In the cultural area, he is currently president of the Sociedade de Cultura Artística and of the Museum of Image and Sound, in São Paulo. He was also president of MAM – Museum of Modern Art of São Paulo and of the Society of Friends of the Pinacoteca de São Paulo.
